Van's Logistics Service opened this warehouse facility on Marquette Rail at Walker in October of 2007.  Van's provides a broad spectrum of public and contract warehousing services as well as custom transload services, handling logstics services in a broad spectrum of commodites for businesses regionally and nationwide.

Comstock Park

Ambassador Steel Corp. (www.ambsteel.com)

Ambassador Steel is the largest independent rebar fabricator in the U.S., with fabricating facilities in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin.specializes in the distribution of steel rebar products for the construction industry.  Ambassador opened its newest facility on Marquette Rail at Comstock Park in July of 2006.

Michigan Rail & Storage, Inc.

Michigan Rail & Storage is a full-service transloading and warehousing firm, offering rail-to-truck and truck-to rail transloading of a host of bulk and packaged commodities, as well as warehousing in an 80,000 SF facility.  Michigan Rail opened this facility in June, 2007.

Weekes Forest Products is one of the Midwest and Florida's largest independent lumber and building product distributors.  Weekes opened its Comstock Park distribution facility in July of 2005.

Sparta

Besse Forest Products is involved in the manufacture of high quality hardwood veneer, lumber and specialty plywood for world markets.  Besse began shipping hardwood veneer logs on Marquette Rail in October, 2006.

Flat Rock Bagging is a full line distributor and packager of industrial sand products, abrasives, mulch, soil and compost products and salt and chloride blended ice melt products.

Packaging Personified designs, manufactures and prints extruded film bags for varied cosumer applications.

Truss Technologies designs and produces custom engineered wood roof and floor truss systems as well as supplies LVL beams and connecting hardware.

Wilbur-Ellis is a leading multinational marketer and distributor of agricultural and industrial chemical products.  It Grant facility is one of the area's largest distributors of dry and liquid fertilizers.

Newaygo

MAC is a Lansing-based privately-held, for-profit corporation which buys, sells, and stores agricultural commodities throughout the United States and Canada.  The 2.5 million bushel Newaygo elevator trades primarily in corn, soybeans and wheat.

Ferrellgas, established in 1939 and based in Overland Park, Kansas, is the second largest marketer of residential, industrial, commercial and agricultural propane in the United States, and the largest provider of branded tank exchange propane.

Koppers is an international company and a leading integrated producer of chemicals, carbon compounds, and treated wood products for the aluminum, steel, chemical, plastics, railroad and utility industries. Koppers sources untreated hardwood railroad ties through Marquette Rail's Baldwin public transload facility.

Cal Chlor owns and operates the largest calcium chloride packaging facility in the world on Marquette Rail in Ludington.

Dow Chemical's Ludington plant is the North America's largest producer of liquid and dry calcium chloride products used in a wide variety of applications including snow and ice control, dust control, redi-mix concrete and oilfield and agricultural applications.

Harsco Track Technologies provides the railroad industry with over 140 types and models of work equipment for track and structure maintenance, renewal, and new construction.

Indian Summer Cooperative Inc.

Indian Summer is a produce processor dealing in juices and fruits of primarily apples and cherries, operating a cross-dock transload facility in Marquette Rail's Ludington yard.

Pigeon River Materials is a transloading, warehousing and trucking firm involved in the handling and distribution of coke and other bulk materials from its Ludington transload facility.

The Magnesia Specialties group is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Martin Marietta Materials, Inc., and is a leading supplier of magnesium oxide and magnesium hydroxide products for a variety of uses including water treatment, agricultural applications, fire suppression and paper manufacturing.
